nornya is a private journaling companion. Your entries are yours. This page is a plain account of what we keep, why, and what we never do.

What we store

• Your journal entries and their reflections, so you can look back and see what changes over time.
• A random session id in a cookie, so your journal follows you between visits. It isn't tied to your name.
• Basic request data your browser and our host (Cloudflare) provide, such as your country — used for safety signposting and nothing else.

How your entry becomes a reflection

To write a reflection, the text you wrote is sent to our AI provider (currently Anthropic and/or Google) and processed under their API terms to generate the response. We do not use your entries to train any model of our own, and we don't sell or share them.

What we never do

• We never sell or share your entries.
• We never use your writing to train models.
• We never show ads inside your journal.

Your control

You can ask us to delete your entries at any time — email hello@nornya.com and we'll remove them. (A one-click delete is on the way.)

Not for children

nornya is for adults. It is not directed at, or intended for, anyone under 18.
